I was just playing with sword designing and this drawing is the first of them to come. It is fun designing swords, at least for me. I draw swords from my imagination without reference. So, how do you like it?

Nice design, I can easily see it appearing in a movie or game or something!

If you design a sword though and want to make it really believable, try to think like a smith from back then. Designers were smiths and the other way around! If I were one, I'd worry a lot about how to forge one of those crossguards from your concept, probably leave it out altogether. That's probably why such a one's not attested, afaik. Same for the pommel: if I had to make this one, I'd worry about how to do that fanciful piece - I wouldn't make it in metal I think. Of course, this is all perfectly sensible when the metallurgy is advanced enough, such as sci-fi or hollywood fantasy, but the pelt and the fact that it's a sword tell me it is not what you meant.

I would also show the seam on the handle more prominently, if it's leather. It makes your concept more believable and truthful! Keep up the good work!
